What We Collect
Jatterbox collects only the information necessary to provide our service: account information (email, name), organization details, session data (transcripts, Q&A, donations), and usage analytics. Audio is processed in real-time and never stored on disk.
How We Use Your Data
We use your data to provide live captions, Q&A, donation processing, analytics, and translation. We never sell your data to third parties. Anonymized usage data helps us improve the platform.
Attendee Privacy
Attendees can join sessions without creating an account. When they do sign up (for bookmarks, donation receipts, etc.), we collect minimal information. Mailing list emails are encrypted — organizers never see raw email addresses.
Audio & Translation
Audio is streamed in real-time through our processing pipeline and is never written to disk or stored. Transcripts are saved only when the organizer enables transcript downloads. Translation is performed via secure API connections to our processing partners.
Donations
Donation payments are processed by Stripe. Jatterbox never stores credit card numbers. Donation history is linked to the attendee's account for receipt purposes.
Your Rights
You can request deletion of your account and all associated data at any time by contacting hello@jatterbox.com. We comply with GDPR, CCPA, and applicable privacy regulations.
